I premda ga ljudi više nisu vidjeli, neki ipak vjeruju kako Veli Jože i dalje spava u blizini Motovuna i čuva njegove stanovnike.

We came to see Motovun by car, it is a city on a hill, at its foot there is a large parking. From the parking we walked up by the old stairs. It took us 40 minutes. From the top, there were beautiful views of the valley, and the reward was a wonderful dinner at a restaurant with local wine and pasta with truffles found in the nearby forest.

This is a city of truffles, they are sold everywhere. And the city itself is just a preserved medieval fortress, you just move to another era.

According to legend, this city was built by a giant, and the locals recreated this legend on the main square, making a large giant out of straw. It was very interesting for me to visit this place
