Mljet National Park is the oldest marine park in the entire Mediterranean, and was declared the same in 1960, with the addition of the sea part in 1997. Mljet National Park together with its Great and Small Lakes is an amazing natural phenomenon, and these places must be found on the list of places you plan to visit during your stay on Mljet. On the big lake there are also the beaches of Vrbovachka and Kapela bays and the beaches in Polache, which are definitely worth considering. The tour is possible with small SUVs that you can rent nearby, and for those who want physical activities, a walk or bike / scooter ride is recommended.
