Dugo Selo
Grad ima okolo 17.531 stanovnika, smješten je 23 km istočno od Zagreba (stoljećima se razvijao na križanju željezničkih pruga). Povijest i kulturu ovog područja obilježilo je ime Svetog Martina, ali i vitezovi templari. Vinogradarska tradicija ovog kraja rezultirala je turističkim događanjima vezanim uz vino, poput Vincekova na Martin Bregu - obilježavanje početka rada u vinogradima i Martinja, proslave "krštenja" vina. Dugoselske jeseni - zabavno-kulturna manifestacija traje od početka rujna do 11.11., Svetog Martina.

During the st Martin's Day i celebrated the wine 'baptism' with the locals who were very friendly. There was also a chance to taste wine and as a wine lover this was like an answered prayer for me. The wine was very good.

The view of the lighting of the town is undeniably beautiful especially at night from the rooftops. I loved the hospitality and kindness of the people in the city especially for the cab driver who took me to different places around the city. This city is fantastic.

I was excited to visit this place which had amazing wineries. I visited some of them and learned how they made sweet wine. The workers were friendly and helpful. I bought some wine to take back home.

This place was the home of wonderful historical sights and rich cultural heritage. I poured the historical sights with the help of my guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of this place. I enjoyed listening to him and he andertef all my questions well. I enjoyed my visit.
