Otok Silba
Otok Silba smješten je u zadarskom arhipelagu, jugoistočno od otoka Malog Lošinja, između susjednih otoka Olib na istoku i Premude na zapadu, naziva se još i "vratima Dalmacije".Pripada skupini naseljenih hrvatskih otoka manje veličine.Jedino naselje na otoku je mjesto Silba. Otokom vlada mir i tišina jer na Silbi nema prometa, što posjetiteljima omogućava potpuno psihićko opuštanje i relaksaciju. Otok je nekad bio vrlo pomorski orijentiran kada je u 18. stoljeću Silba imala flotu od stotinu jedrenjaka. Danas njegovo stalno stanovništvo broji nešto manje od 300 ljudi koji su uglavnom uključeni u turističku industriju. Silba ima puno malih plaža i uvala u kojima se može uživati u kupanju i sunčanju u bistrim i nezagađenim vodama Jadrana. Popularna znamenitost je Toreta, mala kula sa spiralnim stubištem koja pruža pogled na Silbu i krajolik. Toreta se nalazi u samom selu, u samom centru.Silba je dobro povezana trajektima iz Zadra, Malog Lošinja, Pule i Venecije, kao i s ostalim otocima u zadarskom arhipelagu.

Walking is part of body exercise and therefore the Silba Island offers wide opportunity for pedestrians, we had a long walk while enjoying the lessons. Besides that, ferry ride was one of it's kind as we moved to the nearby Islands for more learning. Let us always utilize our holidays by visiting such places.

This was the best place for my summer holiday. The harbour was safe and the beaches were beautiful. I went for long refreshing swims in the clear water. I was amazed by the greenery around the beaches. I loved this place.

I had never ridden in a ferry before. I loved the first time experience when came here. It was fun to sea the large volumes of water spread before me and the cool sea breeze and smell where nice.

The island was the best choice for our summer destination and we enjoyed every bit of it. The The beaches were amazing and the dazzling sea was throwing the best reflection for a relaxing time. The cool breeze and the wonderful people made it a superb summer for us.

Together with a troop of ever loving boaters we visited the island and had the best time of our lives. We enjoyed the best sceneries and breathtaking views on our cruise across the sea. We had some fun and even went swimming at the shores of the sea.

There are some amazing towers where you can climb and enjoy the scenic views of this island. My girlfriend and I were captivated by the lush landscapes and vast seascape. We look forward to coming back.
