Ozalj
Die Altstadt von Ozalj wurde auf einem Felsen über dem Fluss Kupa erbaut. Einst war sie der Sitz eines mächtigen kroatischen Adligen und Schauplatz außergewöhnlicher kultureller und historischer Ereignisse. Das heutige Ozalj baut seine Identität und seine touristische Förderung auf dem Fundament des wertvollen kulturhistorischen Erbes und der traditionellen Besonderheiten der Region auf. Die Stadt wurde erstmals im Jahr 1244 als freie Königsstadt erwähnt. Seit dem Ende des 14. Jahrhunderts war die Stadt im Besitz der Frankopanen, aus deren Händen sie 1550 an die Familie Zrinski überging, die bis 1671 Eigentümerin blieb.Bis heute hat Ozalj eine gute Grundlage für die Entwicklung des Tourismus, vor allem des kulturhistorischen und des Ausflugstourismus. Dank seiner malerischen Umgebung ist dieses Gebiet für Liebhaber von Geschichte, Natur und Erholung am berühmten Strand Kupa sehr geeignet.

My friends and I fell in love with the wines of this town. We visited the lush vineyards and learned about the wine-making process. The winetasting of the sparkling wine left us electrified. We hope to be back.

This town is my peace haven where I come to deeply relax. I enjoying renting the cozy apartments with glorious views and homely ambiance. Whenever I visit Ozalj, I usually feel like am at home away from home!

This town has a lot of adventurous activities. My girl squad and I really enjoyed all the water sports during the day. But the highlight was the nightlife where we partied in the upbeat pubs. The locals here are super fun and the music is electrifying!

This town is the ideal vacation place for the whole family. We especially loved the food tours where we interacted with adorable sheep and cows. The kids loved the delicious sausages that were prepared on an open fire. We recommend it for families.

My friends and I were really fascinated with the history of this town. Ouur stay here was so memorable. We visited the Old Castle of Ozalj and it was so mesmerizing. The pieces of historical art displayed were really stunning. Our stay here was so beautiful.

This town is so magical. My kids and I really made epic memories in this town. It is full of lots of restaurants to try out new delicacies. We spent most of the time at the Kupa beach swimming in its waters and sunbathing. My kids had an epic time.

The panoramic view of the Kupa river from the top of this location is ecstatic. I loved how the area was filled with luscious green vegetation and a relaxing ambiance. I will visit again with my fiancee.
