Kastav
Die Stadt Kastav, die auf einem felsigen Hügel über dem Meer liegt, verfügt über mehrere bedeutende Stadtplätze, die als Versammlungsorte äußerst wichtige öffentliche Räume darstellen, von denen jeder auf eine spezifische Weise gestaltet wurde. Die Stadtmauern von Kastav sind einer der am besten erhaltenen Stadtmauerkomplexe vom Ende des 15. und Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts und ein wertvolles Denkmal der kroatischen Festungsarchitektur. Das Mauersystem wurde als "Festung in der Festung" errichtet, wobei der äußere Teil eine Verteidigungsmauer um die gesamte Siedlung und der innere Teil um die Pfarrkirche bildet. Die Mauern, deren Umfang etwa 750 m beträgt, umschließen eine unregelmäßig geformte Fläche von etwa 27.000 m². Sechs der ehemals sieben Türme des äußeren Walls und drei Türme, die das Plateau mit der Kirche St. Helena Krizarica begrenzen.

Kastav town has fun activities for the whole family. My family visits this town each year and enjoys all it has to offer. My kids love the entertainment games like paintballing. I recommend it for all families.

Kastav town has very beautiful shops where you can go buying some nice souvenirs. The traders are super friendly selling at great prices and discounts. I highly recommend this town.

Kastav has some very beautiful and magnificent churches. They are nice places to visit and enjoy the ancient architectural building designs. This is such a beautiful town and I loved it immensely.

We really enjoyed our trip to Kastav. my friends especially loved going on boat tours and exploring the pristine Adriatic waters. The stunning views of this town are just unbelievable.
