This small coastal town is located about 8 km southeast of the historic city of Zadar, where along the main road there are numerous promenades and beaches on about 4 km of coast. One of the advantages of this small Dalmatian town is the proximity of five famous national parks and two nature parks. the most important of which are the Kornati National Park, the Paklenica National Park, the Plitvice Lakes National Park and the Telashchica Nature Park, the Vrana Lake Nature Park and the Velebit Nature Park. Bibinje has only 4000 inhabitants, and the name Bibano / Bibanum dates from the 11th century. The place is also known as a nautical center thanks to the largest marina on the Adriatic coast, Marina Dalmacija, which is located partly in Bibinje, partly in Sukoshan. The beaches here stretch for several kilometers starting from Zadar all the way to Marina Dalmacija, and are mostly sandy. To avoid the crowds, it is best to choose beaches located further south, such as Punta Rozhiср (partly sand with part of the concrete terraces) or even a few further beaches Padrele and Punta.
