The Church of the Holy Cross was erected at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries on the site of a former 13th century church. Numerous artists took part in the decoration of the church, such as the masters from Ticino, the brothers Giacomo and Clemente Sommazzi, who made a stucco decoration on the ceiling of the sanctuary in 1799, and the Italian painter Giovanni Scajari, who painted the fallen portante. Today, this church serves exclusively as a venue for Rab music evenings.
