At the entrance to the old part of Visnjan is a small Church of St. Anthony the Hermit from the 14th century. Interesting frescoes and graffiti have been preserved inside the church, some of which are in Glagolitic script. Scenes from the life of St. Anthony are shown, and an unusual scene is The Temptation of St. Anthony - a beautiful woman lifts the skirts of her dress and shows the saint her bare leg wanting to seduce him.

Eye catching art and painting on the church walls and ornaments that are placed in the church. The environment surrounding the church is beautiful and lovely gate that had a path decorated to nicely. The architectural building of the church is amazing and catchy which makes it an attractive place to be. The church has a great historical story that dates to medieval time and has the ancient touch. The ancient traditions and cultures are celebrated and cherished throughout.

We visited the church of St Anthony and the statue of the helmet which is very colored is an eye catcher. We relaxed on the benches outside the church which have unique carvings. I loved how the Glagolitic script outlines how the ancient inhabitants celebrated their tradition and culture. The inside of the church is very calm, I loved the the religious artworks inside of the church. It was the most wonderful and peaceful place I have visited in my life.
