This geomorphological monument of nature is located near the small town of Nova Vas, at a depth of 132 meters. The pit was gradually discovered and underground lakes as deep as 16 meters with permanent groundwater were discovered at the lowest level. This beautiful cave is open for sightseeing tours that stretch through five levels with a depth of as much as 60 meters. After a steep vertical entrance, the interior of the pit is covered with lavishly decorated calcite deposits, stalactites, stalagmites and dripping pillars of various colors that over time have shaped interesting and unusual shapes like a very realistic statue of the Mother of God that tourists from all over the world come to see.
