Šušnjevica je manje istarsko naselje u sastavu Općine Kršan.Ovdje, gotovo na rubnom području Parka prirode Učka, svega 20 km udaljenom od Labina, otvoren je Interpretacijski centar “Vlaški puti”.Šušnjevica je poznata po istrorumunjskom govoru, odnosno vlaškom jezik koji je zaštićen kao nematerijalna kulturna baština Hrvatske.Šušnjevica se prvi puta spominje 1340., a 1838. izgrađena je crkva Sv. Ivana Krstitelja na mjestu starije jednobrodne. Na groblju je kapela posvećena Sv. Silvestru, papi iz 16. stoljeća, a vidljivi su ostaci fresaka i glagoljaških grafita.

This place was the best for resting my body and soul. The rural set up of this place was amazing. I loved the delicious foods and the sweet homemade wine. My stay at this place was wonderful.

I found it a nice place to actually experience traditional and cultural heritage of the people living in this small settlement. It is also close to the Ucka Nature park and therefore a nice stop over while heading to the nature park. A nice place to visit.
