Rijeka
Rijeka je smještena na iznimnom i strateškom položaju, na mjestu gdje pogled na Jadransko more prodire preko europske obale najdalje u unutrašnjost, i zato je bogata povijest ovog grada vezana upravo uz more. Rijeka je treći grad po veličini u Republici Hrvatskoj, a to ju čini i glavnim gradom prekrasne Primorsko-goranske županije. Zbog otvorenosti prema vanjskom svijetu grad je poznat po ljubaznosti i gostoljubivosti njenih mještana. U gradu se mogu vidjeti isprepleteni utjecaji brojnih kultura,tradicija i nacija, a Rijeka je od svojih davnina do danas zadržala opis ' grada tolerancije i ugodnog suživota'. Većina ljudi na svom putovanju ubrzava na put do otoka ili u posjet Dalmaciji, ali oni koji zastanu i provedu vrijeme u Rijeci otkrivaju šarm, kulturu, dobar noćni život, intrigantne festivale i najšareniji karneval u Hrvatskoj, a i šire.

a bit old town, some houses need restoration, but with a very nice center. There are many shops on the walking street, both chain and local, so it is so pleasant to walk in any weather. We were in Rijeka at the beginning of September, there were not very many people.

a very beautiful city, urbanistic, a lot of young people, street musicians create a special atmosphere. Houses in Austrian style, on a hill there is a beautiful medieval castle. You can walk around Rijeka all day, especially if you like walking in big cities

We were passing through Rijeka, saw the embankment and walked along the main street of the city, entered Zara. On the whole, the city made a good impression.

I was in Rijeka with my girlfriend, we stayed at a hotel for 2 nights and had a good walk around the city, reached the Castle on a hill, walk a lot. Next day has a nice break ont promenade, and visited nearest Opatia. Was very nice

I totally loved the beaches, they were clean and operational bars with clean water, and not overly crowded. There are also beaches with stones instead of sand. I'll come back again here and enjoy a book.

My fiance and I fell in love with the romantic sunset at the top of City Castle's. The stunning view of the sea is something I will live to remember about Rijeka.
