Rakalj
Rakalj je maleno mjestašce smješteno na zapadnoj obali uvale Raša nedaleko od Pule u Istri. Prvi put se spomenut davne 1190. godine, a tada je bio poznat po svojoj tradicionalnoj istarskoj keramici, tradiciji koja je danas oživljena u turističke svrhe. Rakalj je atraktivan zbog svojih kulturno-povijesnih znamenitosti (barokna župna crkva sagrađena u 18. stoljeću, ruševine dvorca Rakalj), kao i etnografske zbirke smještene u rodnom domu učenjaka i književnika Mije Mirkovića (Mate Balote) . Stari Rakalj, nalazi se bliže moru na malom brežuljku uz prekrasan Raški zaljev. Položaj i okolica obiluju bujnom vegetacijom i razigranim životinjskim svijetom i kao takvi pogodni su za seoski turizam, lov i planinarenje. Rakalj nudi prekrasan slikoviti krajolik, čisto more, toplo sunce i tišinu. Mnoge prekrasne plaže skrivene su od pogleda, pružajući osjećaj slobode i privatnosti.

The cultural and historic attractions in this place are welcoming. I came here to sight see and hike. I also loved the beautiful scenery and the wildlife

Experiencing the vast life in this location was blissful. My wife and I toured the forests and hills learning about the various plant species and wildlife. We engaged in hunting and hiking activities which contributed to the elegance of the whole experience.

The town has a lovely picturesque landscape that enticed us and we enjoyed our time at the place. We went hiking on the hilly place and the trails were awesome that led us to some scenic viewpoints that showcased the beauty of the place. Unforgettable place and moments too.

The beaches are amazing and we had a chance to go for a boat ride and it was totally worth it. We had fun on the sea and enjoyed ourselves. The guide was informative and we played some good music as we entertained ourselves on the tour.

The picturesque landscape acted as a good backdrop for our photoshoot. We stayed at the beautiful beach hidden from the view, giving us the feeling of freedom and privacy.The baroque parish, the ruins and the ethnographic collections are sights to behold in this place.

we visited this small town because of its cultural and historical views. we had a chance to visit the ruins of the castle Rakalj. We also had a beautiful scenery of lush vegetation and picturesque landscape.
