Maslinica is the only settlement and port on the west coast of the island of Solta. On the south side of the Maslinica bay there is a beautiful landscape with a pine forest and hidden stone beaches, and in front of the bay there is an archipelago of seven islands (Polebrnjak, Saskinja, Stipanska, Kamik, Balkun, Rudula and Grmej). With its archipelago, Maslinica is one of the most beautiful places on the Adriatic. The natural significance of the olive grove is complemented by the historical-architectural and ambient values of the old castle (which today is a hotel where you can enjoy carefree) and picturesque stone houses, rich flora and fauna.

Maslinica is a charming town; the view of the pine forest and those of the hidden stone beaches from the sea is magnificent. In the evenings we used to walk barefoot along the beach and it was very romantic. The beauty here is impressive.

I had my accommodation at the old castle which compliments the beauty of the olive grove by its outstanding design and value. The sightseeing of the picturesque stone houses was one of a kind, their interior decor was excellent. The flora and fauna added another beauty to the place.

The beautiful landscapes with pine forests at this place were breathtaking. The castle sands alone majestically despite its age. I loved walking around the castle and had a feel of how people used to stay there. It was great to connect with the past of this people.

We loved the beaches at this place. As we explored the beaches here we discovered other hidden stone beaches that we're amazing. We spent our day swimming and diving in the clear sea and collecting shells.
