There are two villages: Luka and Shepurine.Prvich Luka, at the southern end of the island has a bay and a beach. The parish church dates from the 15th century, and there is a Franciscan monastery built in 1461. In the northwestern part of the island are Shepurine, which are founded in the 16th century by the inhabitants of Srima, a village on the mainland. The Church of St. Helena is worth a visit because of the richly decorated wooden baroque altar. It is easy to get to Prvich Luka and Shepurin by daily Jadrolinija ferries from Shibenik and Vodice.
