Brest pod Uckom, is located at 590m above sea level, on a plateau below the slopes of the hill Shebrn (818m). In the past, it belonged to the Vranje area, and in the 16th century it was colonized by the Morlach population (the so-called Ćići). In this area there are a number of interesting caves and forts, and after heavy rains on a nearby rock above the village flows a waterfall. From here, hiking trails start towards Uchka (Vojak, Poklon) and the peaks of Chicharija (Veliki and Mali Planik).
