Baska Voda
Baska Voda is a former fishing village located approximately 10 km north of Makarska and a little south of Brela; the town has about 3,000 people who are mainly engaged in tourism.The town originated from the town of Bast, which is located on the slopes of the mountain Biokovo; while the Turks invaded the area in the 18th century, people moved to the sea and founded a settlement that later became Baska Voda. Today, the popular tourist destination offers a rich gastronomic service, top quality holiday accommodation and, as in Brela, many beautiful beaches.

The hotels at the beach was one of the interesting thing that made me love the place. The services offered at the beach was top notch with amazing facilities that were worth it. I loved the beaches and enjoyed swimming at the sea on mid morning hours as it was soothing.

I enjoyed long walks along the streets to the market. The market at this place had fresh vegetables and fruits. The vendors were friendly and helpful. I loved the local delicacy of fish.

This fishing village was amazing. I visited the fishermen at the fishing bay and learned about the different fishing methods and the different species of fish found here. I was later invited to enjoy a delicious fishy meal accompanied with loca wine. I loved it.

I loved the numerous beautiful, clean beaches at this place. I enjoyed swimming in the shallow clean waters. I sunbathed and enjoyed talking to the locals who were friendly. I took pictures and sent them back home to my friends.

My family needed a vacation and that's why we came to this place. The accommodation was comfortable and cozy. My children spent hours at the swimming pool swimming and playing other games. It was an amazing stay at these place.

My boyfriend and I visited this town to have fun. We had a great time sightseeing in the beautiful town and at night we explored the bustling nightclubs. The locals are warm, friendly and the upbeat atmosphere ensured we had fun to the fullest!
