Trpanj
Trpanj je skriveni biser poluotoka Pelješca, a poznat je pod geslom „malo mjesto za veliki odmor“. Arheološko nalazište na brežuljku Gradina iznad trpanjske luke svjedoči o kontinuitetu življenja na ovom prostoru od prapovijesti do danas. Osim prapovijesnih tragova, nađeni su ostaci obitavanja Ilira i Rimljana.Danas je Trpanj moderno turističko mjesto, koje uz to čuva svoju višestoljetnu tradiciju ribarstva, vinogradarstva i maslinarstva. Tako se danas može odsjesti u hotelu ili privatnom smještaju, a u restoranima i kafićima uživati u plodovima okolnih maslinika i vinograda.Za one aktivnijeg duga tu su brojne brdske staze, koje se može istraživati pješke ili biciklom. Za ljubitelje dugih šetnji tu je šetnica uz more u duljini od gotovo dva kilometra te brežuljci na kojima se nalaze stare crkvice.Trpanj ima zaista veliki broj plaža, koje su uglavnom šljunčane ili stjenovite. Na većinu njih se spušta sa šetnice uz more, a iznad se nalazi gusta borova šuma. Poseban doživljaj je kupanje u uvali Blace, jer se tamo nalazi ljekoviti mulj.

This town is indeed a historical site. It is a really diverse town. It has plenty of things to do. It is next to the sea. Walking by the sea was a nice and wonderful experience.

The archeological site on the Gradina hill above the port of Trpanj serves as evidence of a rich cultural and historical heritage. The remains of Illyrians and Romans who were the ancient occupants of this location explains the diversity the location has undergone.

I loved the fact that the locals here had maintained their old traditions in their authentic forms. I learned the old traditional fishing method, viticulture, and olive growing. It was a great learning experience and will employ some of the techniques in my home garden.

A vacation with my family was totally fun with the trip to Trpanj. Remarkable time at the beach as we enjoyed the great wonders of the place and had the opportunity to go swimming at the dazzling waters of the sea. Conducive weather too that is fascinating.

The nature of the place is lovely and the dense forest and the beautiful landscape is enticing. We went for a hike on the mountainous area and we loved every bit of time we spent on the hike and the people too. Nice guide and unforgettable moments.
