Susnjevica
Susnjevica is a small Istrian settlement within the Municipality of Krshan.Here, almost on the outskirts of the Uchka Nature Park, only 20 km away from Labin, the Interpretation Center "Vlashki puti" was opened.Susnjevica is known for its Istro-Romanian language, ie the Vlach language, which is protected as an intangible cultural heritage of Croatia.Susnjevica was first mentioned in 1340, and in 1838 the church of Sv. John the Baptist on the site of an older single-nave. At the cemetery is a chapel dedicated to St. Sylvester, a 16th-century pope, and the remains of frescoes and Glagolitic graffiti are visible.
