Sopajac
SOPAJAC or Veli dol is the largest and deepest dolac - sinkhole in Istria. Tradition says that with a special, precisely prescribed ritual at the bottom of Veli dol, it can become invisible.Above the dolce, next to the road, once stood the church of St. Mary, around which a fair was held once a year, until one year a murder took place there. They say that on that occasion the statue of the Mother of God in the church cried.
