Krka National Park is located about 10 kilometers from Sibenik in this part of Dalmatia. Named after the river Krka, the Park covers a little more than 142 square kilometers and covers two thirds of the river itself. The main attraction of the Park are its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski waterfalls Buk which are one of the most famous Croatian sights.Other famous locations include the small island of Visovac and the waterfall Roški slap.A boat trip through the park (included in the entrance ticket) is a great way to see a large part of the Park.Best of all, it is possible to swim in some places in the Krka National Park, which is not the case in other packs, but it is possible that it will be banned here as well. Sedra, a fundamental phenomenon of the Krka National Park, is a frequent occurrence in the surface flows of the Dinaric karst, but it rarely builds waterfalls such as those on the Krka River. Tufa, a limestone that accumulates on tufa formations (moss, algae, etc.), creates various geomorphological forms and that is why it attracts so many tourists from all over the world.
