Kistanje, Krka
Kistanje ist ein kleines Dorf entlang des Flusses Krka und einer der Eingänge zum Nationalpark Krka. Es wurde erstmals im 15. Jahrhundert unter dem lateinischen Namen Kyztane erwähnt. Es wurde neben den Ruinen eines römischen Lagers und einer mittelalterlichen Kirche errichtet. Das Kloster Krka (St. Erzengel) liegt dreieinhalb Kilometer vom Dorf entfernt und ist das spirituelle Zentrum der orthodoxen Gläubigen in dieser Gegend. Neben dem Kloster steht eine Kirche im byzantinischen Stil. Unterhalb der Kirche befinden sich die alten römischen Katakomben, die für Besucher geöffnet sind.Der Eingang Kistanje ist einer der fünf Eingänge zum Nationalpark Krka. Der Nationalpark Krka wurde 1985 als ein Karstphänomen mit sieben Travertin-Wasserfällen von außergewöhnlicher Schönheit erklärt. Am besten besucht man den Park im Frühjahr oder Sommer, wenn er in voller Blüte steht und man sich im klaren Wasser des Flusses erfrischen kann.

Before entering this small village, we toured the Roman Camp and were perplexed by the hospitality of the people in the camp.Being an entrance to the Krka National park, we visited the seven travertine waterfalls, we took the picture in each of the waterfall for memories. Best spot to refresh oneself in the clear water of the river in any season-spring or summer.

One of the best entrances to the park and exciting history and other historic sites situated at the place. We visited the place and had a lot of sightseeing adventures with my friends. Lovely ruins and great place to be.

The waterfall and the river was an amazing place that i visited and this was after the heavy winter seas. clean waters and a beautiful disney nature for me that i loved. Took some wonderful pictures for remembrance and could not be less happy about the place.

I was once here during the summer and I decided to come back again. I loved the clear water during this season and I enjoyed walking in the park where I saw beautiful birds from different spices

I really loved the sounds of the river both in the morning and in the evening, it was very calming and relaxing. The nature around was also very beautiful and thriving. I also had a chance to visit the nearby village and the monastery within, the experience was phenomenal.
