Insel Shipan
Die Insel Sipan ist die größte Insel der Elaphiten. Hier gibt es nicht nur viele Sommerhäuser, sondern auch Kirchen - 34 an der Zahl. Besonders interessant ist die Kirche St. Stephan mit einem Gemälde der Jungfrau mit Kind, einem Werk des venezianischen Malers Panteleone aus dem 15. die Kirche des Heiligen Geistes.Sipan steht im Guinness-Buch der Rekorde als die Insel mit der größten Anzahl von Olivenbäumen. Sie sollten also unbedingt diesen kleinen, malerischen Ort besuchen und die lokale Küche, gewürzt mit dem hervorragenden Olivenöl, und natürlich den hausgemachten Wein probieren.Auf der Insel gibt es zwei größere Siedlungen - Sipanska luka und Sudurad -, die durch eine etwa 5 km lange Straße verbunden sind, die durch ein fruchtbares Sipan-Feld führt. Die Insel ist voll von schönen Stränden, das Meer ist sauber, das Essen ist großartig, und vor allem frisch und lokal.

Apart from the scenic views of the sea and the beach the atmosphere at the island was awesome. We visited the restaurant at the island were top notch. Exquisite services and amazing menu to choose from as we enjoyed the freshly cooked seafood that was delicious. Remarkable time at the island that i will remember.

My buddies and I had a terrific time on this island. We especially loved going on the wine and olive oil tasting tours. They were very delicious and they left us very happy. We shall bring more friends on the next trip.

The island of Shipan has some beautiful beaches. I had fun here playing in the waters and enjoying the scenic views. This island is just heavenly.

I really enjoyed my trip to this island. I especially enjoyed the delicious seafood prepared in the restaurants and served by the friendly waiters. The quiet surroundings added to all the relaxation. I recommend this island to all.
