Veli Iž je jedno od dva sela na otoku Iž, smješteno na sjeveroistočnom dijelu otoka Iž. Tamo možete osjetiti tradicionalni i izvorni način života. Maslinarstvo, ribolov i pomorski poslovi najčešći su među malobrojnim mještanima Velog Iža. Mirno mjesto s proporcionalnom arhitekturom ima nekoliko lijepih građevina u romaničkom stilu. Vrijedni eksponati mogu se naći u Muzeju baštine. Veli Iž ima očuvanu staru jezgru, a u središtu mjesta nalazi se obnovljena crkva sv. Petra i Pavla. Također, ima nekoliko tradicionalnih restorana, tri bara, trgovinu, poštu, kliniku, kao i hotel i modernu marinu.Središte otoka Iž leži u pitomoj uvali na sjeveroistočnoj strani otoka. I danas odiše izvornim i tradicionalnim ritmom otočkog života. Maslinarstvo, ribarstvo i pomorstvo najčešći su poslovi kojima se bavi njegovo malobrojno stanovništvo. Svakodnevna brodska veza sa Zadrom čini ga lako dostupnim.

The night life at the place is awesome with the bars and clubs sserving good drinks and great music being playes with people having so much fun and good times.

We rented a boat and went for a ride at the waters with my fiancee and the experience was uniquely awesome and spectacular. The sparkling sea was magical.

The monastery holds some of the beautiful collections and the art works is glamarous. Eye catching sights and amazing tours around the place.

Me and my friends rented a kayak and went kayaking at the sean and the activity was amazing with team work and paddling on the crystal clear waters. Amazing feeling and adventure at the sea.

Nice and peaceful island that is accessible by a speed boat and has plenty of good food and the views from the island are dazzling. Would recommend a visit.

A scooter for hiking around the village was perfect for the tour and me and my friend rented visited the university and it was wonderful day for us.
