Nacionalni park Risnjak jedan je od 8 veličanstvenih prirodnih nacionalnih parkova u Hrvatskoj, koji svojom ljepotom mami sve više posjetioca svake godine. Smješten je u brdovitoj hrvatskoj regiji - Gorskom kotaru, samo 15 kilometara sjeverno od Jadranskog mora. Risnjakovo područje proteže se na zavidnih 4600 hektara, a svakim korakom osjetit ćete stapanje uma sa prirodom. Park uključuje raskošni Risnjak, masiv Snježnik i prekrasan izvor rijeke Kupe.Risnjak je dobio ime po srednje velikoj divljoj životinji, risu. Ris je najrjeđa i najskrivenija zvijer u Europi i samo nekoliko lovaca i prirodoslovaca zna kako im ući u trag. Risnjak je prepun različitih bujnih vrsta šuma, uređenih šetnjica, malih travnjaka i čvrtih kamenih stijena, a bogat je i zavidnim brojem biljnih vrsta, te je savršen za posjetitelje željne aktivnog odmora.

We found the beautiful source of the River Kupa when we visited the park. We also found an enviable number of plant species and lush forest species from the park that are rare to find elsewhere. The small lawns in the park offered us with a relaxing and refreshing environment.

My friends and i visited this national park during the weekend. the park has beautiful sceneries with lush forests, solid rocks and landscapes. We learnt various species of plants found here.

The park has rich flora and made of dense forest that provides a great place for hunting. We teamed up with my friends and with the help of the guide and it was a success through the entire activity. We managed to hunt one animal.
