Makarska
Makarska is a combination of a cosmopolitan coastal town with a beautiful promenade and a popular family resort in summer. It is a good holiday destination for those who want a bit of a combination of everything from beaches to relatively lively nightlife, as well as a little adventure (mountaineering overhangs Makarska).The town of Makarska has evolved into a natural harbor bordered by Cape Osejava in the southeast and the Sveti Petar peninsula in the northwest. In the last 50 years, the city has expanded to include the villages of Veliko Brdo, Puharići, Batinići and Makar, which are located at the foot of Mount Biokovo. Today it is a tourist destination with numerous hotels, villas and boarding houses, diverse high-quality gastronomy, as well as numerous entertainment, sports and cultural events on offer.

We came here for a family vacation. My kids especially had fun in the sports complexes where they played tennis while I enjoyed buying beautiful souvenirs in the vibrant shopping malls. This is a nice city to vacation as a family.

I really had a wonderful vacation. I especially enjoyed the adrenaline rush activities like ziplining which was just thrilling. I can't wait to come again for another visit.

My buddies and I had a cheerful time as we partied till sunrise. Makarska has very magical clubs with splendid atmospheric lighting and good music. I highly recommend this place for hangouts.

We went on invigorating nature walks together with some friends to the mountains that had very spectacular landscapes and perfectly tranquil nature trails. The breathtaking scenery left us deeply rejuvenated. We cant wait to come back.

Makarska is famous for its exotic wines produced from a variety of grapevines inhabiting the city. My friends enjoyed trying out the different flavors and took some with us. The whole trip left us in much gusto.
