Desinić
Desinić je malo mjesto na pitoresknim zelenim brežuljcima Hrvatskog zagorja. Prvi spomen mjesta nalazimo u dokumentima iz 14. stoljeća, a spominje ga se pod imenom "Ecclesia sancti Gheorgii de Zothla" kao sjedište rimokatoličke župe svetog Jurja. U starim dokumentima susreće se i ime „Desinje“. Povijest mjesta vezana je uz dvorac Veliki Tabor, koji je imao brojne slavne vlasnike tijekom stoljeća – grofove Celjske, grofovi Rattkay te velikog hrvatskog slikara Otona Ivekovića. Vlasnici dvoraca kroz povijest bili su i vlasnici cijelog ovog kraja.Danas je Desinić popularno turističko mjesto, nadaleko poznato po predivnom dvorcu Veliki Tabor. Osim bogate kulturne ponude, Desinić nudi vrhunske autohtone gastronomske užitke i poglede na predivne zelene brežuljke Zagorja.

Attractive sites that are core of the place and with the amazing history of the place we enjoyed the tour around some of the best places at the village. We visited the castle as well as the churches and the tour was fantastic and we were delighted to see the amazing places and things.

The rural setup and the homely atmosphere was welcoming. I enjoyed the cool climate and interacted with the friendly locals. I relaxed in the evening watching the beautiful sunset while enjoying a glass of local wine.
