Zena Glava
Zena Glava is a small authentic village in the center of the island, in the area of the settlement of Podshpilje. This place with an unusual name is known for the gastronomic offer of rural households and an excellent resting place on the way to Tito's cave and Hum hill. The pleasant climate during the summer heat, the abundance of aromatic herbs and the beautiful view of the fields and vineyards will delight every visitor.

The abundance in aromatic herbs in this location was exciting since I was able to learn about most of them and ended up carrying some of them for personal consumption. I was able to obtain various recipes for some of the delicacies and will try them at home.

Hiking at the Tito's cave and the Hum hills was very adventurous since it was my first time. The view of the village from the hill is really beautiful especially those of the houses. The experience was unforgettable.

The heat in the summer was favourable to me, i took walks around the village and interacted with the hospitable and kind locals. The view of the field is one of a kind, the mouthwatering ripe grapes that awaited being harvested were enticing. The wine from the vineyards tasted really great.

I visited this place to enjoy the natural vegetation. The cool air was fresh and soothing. My long walk into the country side was great. I loved my alone time here.

We came to this place for an educational tour. We stayed for three day exploring the mountains and discovering caves. The archaeological site was amazing. It was great being here.
