Viganj
Das Dorf Viganj ist eine kleine Siedlung mit etwa 300 ständigen Einwohnern, die im südwestlichen Teil der Halbinsel Peljesac liegt und den westlichen Eingang zum Peljesac-Kanal bewacht, einem alten Seeweg zwischen der nördlichen und südlichen Adria. Der Kanal zwischen den Inseln Korcula und Viganj ist voll von bunten Surfern und Kitesurfern und bietet ein beeindruckendes Bild. Am Hauptstrand von Viganj, Ponta, gibt es zwei Windsurfing-Zentren, die verschiedene Dienstleistungen anbieten, vom Ausrüstungsverleih bis hin zu verschiedenen Kursen für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene. Am Ponta-Strand können Sie auch Fahrräder mieten, Beachvolleyball spielen und tauchen.Viganj ist das beliebteste Ziel für Windsurfer in KroatienEs gibt viele geeignete Wege für Mountainbiking und Trekking, und Liebhaber von Flora und Fauna können einige sehr seltene Pflanzen, eine reiche medizinische Flora und Tierarten (Mufflon, Wildschwein, Fasan) genießen und fotografieren. Ziegenpfade, Wiesen und felsiges Gelände sind ideal für extreme Radtouren und zum Klettern.In Viganj gibt es viele kleine Kieselstrände und zwei FKK-Strände unterhalb der Kirche des Heiligen Johannes. Der Ort verfügt über mehrere charmante Bars und kleine Restaurants, die ideal sind, um einen ruhigen mediterranen Sommer zu genießen, mit dem Geschmack von Fisch, gewürzt mit exzellentem, lokal angebautem Olivenöl und einem Glas des weltberühmten Peljesac-Weins.

I visited with my sister in this location and we were able to enjoy a flora and fauna moment. We were able to discover some rare plants and flowers which we photographed and took samples of. It was blissful experience and I learned a lot.

My friends and I really enjoyed kite sailing when we visited this village. We got a really perfect view of the the village and the view was just so spectacular. The people were so friendly and hospitable.

I had such a fascinating rock climbing experience when I visited this town. My experience was so memorable. There were plenty of outdoor activities available such as mountain biking and trekking. My stay here was so perfect

This was the first town i have come across that has a marvelous view point of the sea and the hills, we walked to the Sveti Ilija Peak trailhead which was quite adventurous, we could view the whole island from there, you cannot miss a spot here there are numerous apartments to choose from and so many recreational activities as well

The studenac market was so full of life when i went to do my f=grocery shopping, i also bought some souvenirs for the trip, the place also has wind surfing and kite sailing because of the strong winds here, it was awesome and entertaining watching the professionals do their thing

My kids and I were delighted to arrive at this beautiful place where we got to know its rich history. It offered swimming classes and my kids were not left behind. Tag along family members as you plan not missing such vacation.

The sport activity that took my attention is that which involved wind power with a large power kite which pulled me across the water as kids watched. It came a photo session and we took many pictures for memories. What a fantastic holiday with my kids.
