Starigrad
The unique harmonious combination of the sea and the power of Velebit and the proximity of the Paklenecia National Park are reason enough to relax in Starigrad. Especially interesting is the beach Kulina, which is characterized by swimming in the shadow of the Vechka tower, which dates back to the Middle Ages. Nearby are the church of St. Petra, 14-16. century, the fortress Paklarić, also from the Middle Ages, located at 121 meters above sea level. Along the many Velebit trails, visitors will come across Mirile, a tombstone from the 17th to the 20th century, which tells of the funeral rituals of the local population who measured the length of the body of the deceased in this way and then made mirile from them. in the cemetery they visited more than the grave itself. The National park had a lodge which was affordable and provided a great service. The park rangers helped us with various gears that we were to use during hiking and also camping. We had a great time together.

Swimming under the Vechka tower was a new experience for me and i could see its shadow, very incredible. Later i would join the locals in the cycling competition which was really fun. I loved the experiences.

Starigrad has rich history of the churches and fortresses. I visited the old tombstone at Mirile and learned about the tradition and cultural funeral rituals done by the locals. Such a great place.

We came to this place for an active vacation We went hiking and mountain climbing. Our guide who was friendly showed us the way to the top of the mountain. The view below was breathtakingly beautiful. We took pictures and ate delicious food at a tavern on the mountain. It was an amazing time.

Unique places to visit on our tour to the place as we enjoyed every activity that we got involved in. The nature of the place was breathtaking as we went for a hike around the place. Memorable occasion that we had with my friends.

The best beautiful beaches are classical. I enjoyed the pride of Starigrad swimming on the waters of coastline. Amazing.
