The island is an oasis of peace and tranquility, it was the perfect spot to escape the bustle of the town. We loved walking bare feet on the sandy pebbled beach. It was an educative tour, the tour guide narrated to us the rich history of the Island.

The views of the clear sea especially during the evenings as the sunset rays dazzle into the water is magnificent. It was an awesome experience to go boat riding to the village of Drvenik. A beautiful Island with a great rich history.

Through my visit here, I was able to learn that the first inhabitants of this place were shepherds and nomads who were fleeing from the Turks. Of interest were the many coves with sandy and pebble beaches located here. We swam in the clear sea .
