Desinich
Desinich ist ein kleines Dorf in den malerischen grünen Hügeln von Hrvatsko Zagorje. Die erste Erwähnung des Dorfes findet sich in Dokumenten aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, wo es unter dem Namen "Ecclesia sancti Gheorgii de Zothla" als Sitz der römisch-katholischen Pfarrei St. Georg erwähnt wird. Auch der Name "Desinje" findet sich in alten Dokumenten. Die Geschichte des Dorfes ist mit dem Schloss Veliki Tabor verbunden, das im Laufe der Jahrhunderte viele berühmte Besitzer hatte - die Grafen von Celje, die Grafen Rattkay und den großen kroatischen Maler Oton Ivekovic. Heute ist Desinic ein beliebtes Touristenziel, das vor allem für sein schönes Schloss Veliki Tabor bekannt ist. Neben einem reichhaltigen kulturellen Angebot bietet Desinic auch erstklassige gastronomische Köstlichkeiten und Ausblicke auf die wunderschönen grünen Hügel des Zagorje-Gebirges.

Attractive sites that are core of the place and with the amazing history of the place we enjoyed the tour around some of the best places at the village. We visited the castle as well as the churches and the tour was fantastic and we were delighted to see the amazing places and things.

The rural setup and the homely atmosphere was welcoming. I enjoyed the cool climate and interacted with the friendly locals. I relaxed in the evening watching the beautiful sunset while enjoying a glass of local wine.
