The Slana concentration camp is located in Metajna on the island of Pag, and was founded in June 1941. In the past, it was a concentration camp that was part of the Ustasha system, and stretched from Gospić, Velebit and finally to the island of Pag. Shortly after its founding, however, it was closed by the Italian army. In fact, the Slana camp was the only unmarked Ustasha camp, and to this day it is almost completely forgotten. Today, the entire complex is neglected and has no function.
