The former administration building of Belišće d.d. company popularly called the Administrative Building or "Palej", was built in 1905. With its monumentality, this one-story house, surrounded by a park, is one of the greatest architectural achievements created at the beginning of the 20th century. The interior of the building exudes the period and style in which the building was created - Art Nouveau. It was built for residential purposes but never served that purpose. The building was built by Baron Edmund Gutmann. During World War I, the building housed a military hospital. On January 3, 1992, due to frequent artillery attacks on Belišće and several direct hits, the building was destroyed by fire. The building is currently under reconstruction.
