Ugljan
With more than 2500 hours of sunshine a year, many rocky and sandy beaches and crystal clear sea, the island of Ugljan leaves no one indifferent.The island of Ugljan is located across from the city of Zadar, at a distance of only a few nautical miles. It is well connected by ferry lines to the mainland. There are seven settlements on the island: Preko, Kali, Kukljica, Ugljan, Lokoran, Sutomishchica and Poljana.To this day, the centuries-old tradition of olive growing and fishing is nurtured here, thanks to which the local cuisine is rich in organic ingredients and excellent flavors. Ugljan is known for its particularly high-quality olive oil.
