Pomena
Pomena is a small village, as well as a port located at the western end of the island of Mljet, about 2 km away from the village of Govedjari. The village has just over 50 permanent residents.They live in agriculture, fishing and tourist trade. It was originally founded by the Govedjari people, as it was their nearest sheltered bay and access to the sea. They came to the bay mainly for fish. However, since the growth of tourist trade in the area and the construction of the Pomena Hotel, it has become a more tourist-oriented place.

The Pomena Hotel had very affordable accommodation rates, quality services, clean and spacious rooms. I witnessed amazing designs and arts of houses in this village, their decorations bring life to the houses. Its remarkable.

I loved my stay at the Pomena hotel in this location. The staff is cordial and very professional. They ensured I had all my meals and my room was clean. I did not lose of my items during the visit due to the high security. I will visit again soon.

The narrow streets on the small town just near the coast was very nice to walk along, they had great scenery for creative and drone photography, good thing i carried my dslr camera, the tourist trade here is really booming, the memories made here were documented in detail

The bay town main activity that i loved was fishing, they have good traditional methods of doing it, they also have a nice agricultural activities, they have their own frms and depend on themselves for vegetables and fruits, i loved their independence

We still relish the time we had in pomena. The bike trips exploring the vibrant town were just incredible. The locals are very warm and we were elated by its exceptional surroundings.

I enjoyed every sing moment that i stayed in this lovely town. The trips to the parks were the most memorable. The lush park and the brsik forest was perfect for picnics and reading a good book. I shall come again.

This is a very nice to have a ball. My friends and i still vividly remember the ATV quad bike rides in the rugged terrain. The adrenaline rush was extreme. It was a thrilling experience.
