On the north side of the island is the village of Okljucna, and at the foot of this village is the bay of the same name. In the village there is a baroque chapel of St. Anthony and the Queen's Cave, which is adorned with the name of a natural landmark. Legend has it that it was named after Queen Teuta — who had her home there. This queen, as the ancient writers say, ruled the Adriatic and on several occasions besieged the Greek city of Issa, or today's Vis.

I visited the baroque chapel of St. Anthony and the Queen's cove. I loved the incorporation of baroque architectural style in its construction. The interior of the church had beautiful paintings. I will visit the location again with my brother.

I loved spending my summer days at the bay of this location. The beach was quiet and serene with very few people around which allowed me and my wife to enjoy intimate moments. It was a great bonding experience and we will visit again soon.

I learned about the history of the Queen's cave of having been named after Queen Teuta. The cave was an important landmark that helped me to find my way in many parts of the village. I recommend this place, it's worth it.
