Zambratija used to be a small fishing village, and today it is one of the most famous tourist resorts in this area, which is confirmed by many new houses and cottages. Its name allegedly derives from the name of Zuanne Bratti, one of the former owners of the feud, who paid more attention to it when the danger of enemy burglaries ceased and when the castle of Sipar became uncomfortable for everyday life.In Zambratija you can taste many Istrian dishes (fish, ham, cheese, truffles and wine), visit neighboring towns (Umag, Porec, Pula), visit the Kvarner islands (Cres, Krk, Losinj and Rab) and the Brijuni National Park. Sports fans can surf, water ski, dive, ride, sail, play tennis, football, basketball, volleyball and many other activities.

As a food lover, this was the best and perfect spot to be at. I tasted a variety of Istrian dishes such as fish, ham, cheese, truffles which were perfectly matched with delicious tasty homemade wines. I also engaged in various recreational activities as part of exercising my body such as surfing, sailing and playing tennis.

I had never seen something so unique as a chapel in a cave. This place had the most unique features. I visited this cave and explored the chapel. I was amazed by the old knives, glasses and roman coins that were kept here. I took pictures of this artifacts.

In my opinion the place is suitable for every person to visit, from sports enthusiasts to people just looking to relax. I enjoyed the Istrian cuisines served in the location, they added to the experience of visiting the place. The best part of the visit is the different recreational/sports activities they offered, they are enjoyable and make teh visit even more enjoyable.
