Pomena
Pomena je malo selo, kao i luka smještena na zapadnom kraju otoka Mljeta, oko 2 km udaljena od sela Govedari. Selo ima nešto više od 50 stalnih stanovnika.Žive u poljodjelstvu, ribarstvu i turističkoj trgovini. U početku su ga osnovali ljudi Govedjari, jer je to bio njihov najbliži zaštićeni zaljev i izlaz na more. U zaljev su dolazili uglavnom radi ribe. Međutim, od rasta turističke trgovine na tom području i izgradnje hotela Pomena je postala više turističko orijentirano mjesto.

My wife is a number one fan of this island and she always insists to come here each year. I also love it, particularly its undisturbed beaches. The beach bars are also a nice place to enjoy a drink as you watch the sunsets. Its a fantastic town.

If you are a sea waters fan then you should definitely visit this town. The kayaks and canoe trips are always a chance to have a relaxing time as you enjoy watching the beautiful sea cliffs. I highly recommend.

The nightlife in Pomena is always such a good way to unwind. Its wine bars are perfect to enjoy the exotic wines while listening to live music. This year am bring some of my friends and i know they shall love it too.

We took a trip to Pomena and fell in love with it. We always come each year and i really look forward to our trip next week. The speed bikes tours, jet skiing, and the water skiing are some of my favorite activities.
