Island of Mljet
The island of Mljet is located a few hours by boat from Dubrovnik. It is a green and peaceful island of the Adriatic coast that many people who visited it consider very seductive. Part of the island of Mljet is also the Croatian National Park.Mljet is one of the most beautiful Croatian islands. This pristine island is covered with dense Mediterranean forest and interspersed with a maze of trails that are ideal for peaceful walking.The sea around the island is deep with an abundance of fish. At the northwestern end of the island there are two connected lakes with clear blue-green water made for swimming and relaxing. This sandy beach is also ideal for swimmers on the easternmost point of the island, in Saplunara, which is considered the most beautiful in Croatia.The best-preserved western part of the island has been declared a national park. Mljet is believed to be the island of Melita where St. Paul and his companions shipwrecked on their way to Rome.

I Loved the traditional foods such as olives and goat cheese sold in the glamorous restaurants on the Island. The Friendly staff dotted on us. I recommend this island if you want a perfect getaway!

My friends and I visited this island and had fun touring this magical island. Some days we went on bikes, other times we rented scooters. The stunning views of this island are just breathtaking!

Biking was activities of many. I really enjoyed ridding on the great slopes of this island. I will live to remember the experience.

we did enjoy sea kayaking and snorkeling tour. This was superb and immense in all sense. this is a heaven on earth

The great national park around the island was of its kind. It housed all flora and fauna that are a great tourist attraction .wonderful

Being big lovers of wine we got to have alot of different wine testing ocassion at different spots in the island. Great taste and unique in every wine we got to hold of. Would recommend

We got to have several hikes around the island for a few days and each days was something new and even much better experience each day. Hiking trail was awesome and was great for the adventure.
