Cerion, a village near Karojba, Višnjan municipality. In history, it belonged to the Motovun families and the Motovun municipality. In the settlement is the cemetery church of St. Matthew the Apostle from the 15th century (Glagolitic inscription), restored in 1707. On the façade, restored in 1935, there is a horsehair with two bells. Inside are two marble altars with several statues.

We toured the inside of the facade which has two marble altars with several statues that acted as backdrop for our photos. Also in the facade, we saw the horsehair that has two bells well preserved by the locals. Am glad to read the Glagolitic inscription in the cemetery church of St Matthew that was restored in 1707.

My tour to this place brought me to this ancient church which still had two bell hanging from the ceiling, and two beautiful marble altars which had a statue. It was an amazing sight. The church was well kept and the grounds clean despite its age.

I can describe my visit as one that lives an impression on oneself, the village has a wonderful historical background that would interest most people. However, the best attraction at this place according to me is the structures that still stand at present and date centuries back. A beautiful place to visit.
