The Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Motovun was previously dedicated to St. Cyprian and was first mentioned under this title in 1454. In the middle of the 19th century, the church was thoroughly restored with votive gifts against the plague. Namely, St. Cyprian is celebrated as a protector against the plague.
