Legrad
Grad Legrad se smjestio na ušću rijeke Mure koja se ulijeva u Dravu, tik uz mađarsku granicu, i nekim je čudom bio pošteđen velikih tokova moderne civilizacije. Legrad se spominje od 1384. godine kao naselje u Međimurju. Stoljeća bogate povijesti ostavila su svoje tragove, stoga svakako posjetite baroknu crkvu Presvetog Trojstva, barokni trg s raspelima ("pilovi") i gostionicu iz 18. stoljeća. Tu je i Novi Zrin, utvrda koju je sagradila plemićka obitelj Zrinski namijenjena obrani od Turaka.Legrad je poseban i po nečemu drugom, upravo se ovdje spajaju dvije prekrasne rijeke Mura i Drava, stvarajući možda posljednji prirodni meandar u svom vijugavom toku. To ih čini idealnim staništem za rijetke biljne i životinjske vrste koje ovdje su našli svoje utočište. Veliki Pažut je ornitološki rezervat na ušću prekrasne rijeke koji privlači pozornost brojnih ljubitelja prirode. U ljetnim mjesecima Legrad nudi osvježavajuće kupanje u rijeci Dravi i obližnjem jezeru Šoderica.

The nature of the place is diverse and rich which was catchy when we visited the place and had a walk around. Refreshing experience as we got to learn of the marvelous place and enjoyed our tour.

I love swimming and getting to swim at the river was the best thing to happen to me during my time at the place. I loved the atmosphere and the chance to explore more to nature and the wonders that the place had in store for me.

With the nature that is present at the place we enjoyed the diverse nature that blossomed and lit the place well. The fauna was great too and gave a good feeling about the place. The river was the exciting thing about the place and we enjoyed swimming at the river and it was refreshing and fun to do with my friends and family.

We enjoyed taking long walks through this picturesque place. It was refreshing to go cycling around the town. We made friends with the locals and took great pictures. My stay here was wonderful.
