The Quarter of St. Theodore in Pula is a part of the historical core of Pula where many valuable archeological finds have been found. The oldest finds are from the turn of the 2nd to the 1st millennium BC and belong to the Iron Age of the Histrian culture. Finds from the ancient period include the foundations of the Temple of Hercules, the Roman domus and the baths. More than 2,000 amphorae were also found. Remains of early Christian churches from the period of late antiquity have also been found.
