The great scientist Nikola Tesla, who invented the wheel of the modern age and "illuminated the world", was born in 1856 in Smiljan. He grew up and acquired his first knowledge in Gospić. The Nikola Tesla Memorial Center, opened in 2006 on his 150th birthday, has united science, art and tourism in one place.

Learning from the tech guru who revolutionized the digital space was such an honor. Together with my colleagues, I got to experience science and technology from the center of one iconic individual.

After moving round the museum with the children, and getting a sneak peak into the famous inventors life, we settled around the area and enjoyed some snacks. I met a local who told me a very interesting legend to tesla and I had a great time

Spectacular place to visit that we enjoyed with my kids as they were playing at the playground. The unique place has a showroom with modern presentation of Nikola Tesla's achievements and it was totally worth the visit.

the word intimate comes to mind when you visit this museum. it is not hyped and you could easily miss it but once you get here, you immediately feel the passion put into bringing the tesla life to the world. its a small museum but with alot of onformaregarding tesla. the locals hold dear the memory of this great human and I enjoyed being able to share in their love.

My review of the Nikal tesla memorial is that it was a very fun and entertaining place. I played volleyball and went bike riding. The people who tour the place are also very kind and helpful when creating activities to do in the area. I recommend the banana smoothie.

this museum. has done a good job of putting the life and achievements of tesla together in a documentary and mementos. its small but surprisingly intense in the information given. I was impressed.
