The Hvar Theater, founded in 1612, is one of the first municipal theaters in Europe. It was built on the old Arsenal - a space for repairing galleys and storing various nautical tools. The exterior of the theater has mostly been preserved in its original form, while the beautiful interior dates from the 19th century

the preservation achieved and wffort to maintain the old form of theatre is impressive and takes you back to the old ages as you sit watching a play

The view of the town of Hvar from the arsenal was spectacular. This place was built in the the early 17th century and it has been well renovated and it's the oldest in Europe. Touring this place was a breathtaking experience. I loved their vast collection of cultural artefacts.

the boatyard display was impressive and the way the interior was preserved to mirror the original theatre makes a tour to this place worthwhile

The theater has a beautiful building with a touch of Roman design that give it an amusing structural taste. The theater holds several exhibitions which are fascinating and they showcase the history of the place and its unique culture that explains the natives. We were perplexed by the arrangements and the internal decorations that were used on the theater. We attended and event that was organised and the experience was magical.

The theatre has a nice history and unique culture. i also got to see different types of old age weapons and take photos in the arsenal.

This is the perfect place to experience the cultural history of a place. Its architectural design was impressive and its ancient interior is mesmerising. There are various cultural artifacts on display. The tour guides were hospitable and knew the history of the place pretty well.

I loved the interior decoration and arrangement of this location. The style utilized dates back to the ancient centuries and speaks into the cultural preservation the interior has undergone.
