The Path of the Survey of Istrian Land Boundaries - refers to today's thematically arranged nature trail arranged by the local association Valigaštar. The path begins at Our Lady of Lourdes, built in 1898, and leads along the path taken by the then authorities in the Middle Ages, determining the boundaries of the area that can be used by the rural population and feudal lords (Patriarch of Aquileia, Count of Pazin and Venetians). These borders referred to the rights of grazing, watering livestock and deforestation, and were recorded in a notarial form in the Survey of Istrian Land Boundaries, which is an extremely important Croatian Glagolitic historical monument, and was composed probably between 1275 and 1325. Today in the National and University Library in Zagreb under the number R 3677 a transcript is kept of the text in Glagolitic script from 1546. Its described borders are still visible today as a reminder of the ancient tradition of separating the nobility from the local population. This beautiful journey that takes us back in history at every step is an invaluable experience, and every year it attracts more and more visitors with its curiosities.
