The Homeland Museum of the City of Buzet was founded in the 20th century and operated as an independent building for some 15 years. After that, it was added to the" Augustin Vivoda "National University, part of which remains today.
Conveniently located in the beautiful 17th century Bigatto Palace in the Old Town of Buzet, with its permanent displays of a rich ethnological and archaeological collection of objects, it attracts visitors to visit.
The museum has a hall with occasional exhibitions or craft workshops, as well as a library and a photo library. One of the most interesting and unique exhibits is certainly the old Buzet earring.
