The late Baroque Large Well in Buzet was used to collect rainwater. It was built in 1789 during the time of Captain Marco Antonio Trevisano, on the site of an older cistern. The Well is surrounded by a monumental Rococo-style fence with massive volutes, vases and a coat of arms with an inscription about the construction. A Venetian lion relief is carved at the base.
