One of the most impressive buildings in Pazin is the building of the former Episcopal seminary in Juraj Dobrila Street. The building was built by the "Student Support Society for Istria" even before the First World War, with the intention of being a student dormitory.
Since 1936, it has housed the "Fabio Filzi Institute", while in World War II it was used by the armies of all warring parties. Since December 1945, the building has housed the Episcopal seminary, and since 1993 the Pazin College - a classical grammar school, a high school with a full-time stay, and one of the first private high schools in Croatia.
